RangersFirst was founded on a simple conviction: rangers are not an afterthought in
conservation systems — they are its foundation. And when they are truly supported, everything changes.

RangersFirst was founded by Andrew Campbell on a conviction built through over 15 years of working directly with rangers across Africa:

That meaningful, lasting impact begins with the people who dedicate their lives to caring for Africa's wild places. Rangers are the foundation of conservation systems. Yet the support they need — strategic, organisational, and human — is too often missing. RangersFirst exists to provide it — not by replacing what organisations have built, but by strengthening what already exists and helping organisations build systems that truly place rangers first.
